Victim Services of Temiskaming & District services the District north to Butler Lake,
south to Temagami, east to the Quebec border and west to Gowganda; a 15,803 square mile catchment area.
Our non-profit agency offers confidential assistance in order to help victims in times of
crisis. We work closely with other community agencies to ensure that each individual we serve has access to
efficient and comprehensive service.
Who is a Victim?
A victim is any person whose life has been affected by a criminal act or traumatic
circumstance, regardless of severity. Victims are those whose personal rights have been violated by criminal,
violent or aggressive act(s). Victims are also the family and friends of those who have been traumatized as a
result of crime, and/or tragedy.
Victim Services is available for victims of any crime or tragic circumstance, including but
not limited to:

- Criminal Harassment
- Stalking/Online Stalking
- Domestic Violence
- Elder Abuse
- Family Crisis
- Hate Crime
- Motor Vehicle Accidents
- Sexual Assault
- Sudden Death
